While honoring the legacy of Steak Market, we've added a bold twist inspired by Bar 44 — offering the best of both worlds. The main floor delivers an upscale dining experience, while our downstairs speakeasy offers a relaxed vibe with hookah and cigars.
We're proud to introduce our Executive Head Chef, "Thee Main Ingredient" — Chef Willie Wallace.
Chef Willie brings world-class flavor and star power to SM44, having cooked for icons like Kanye West, Travis Scott, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Rick Ross, Janelle Monáe, DJ Drama, and top NBA & NFL athletes. His résumé includes sold-out events in London, exclusive celebrity dinners, and a feature at ESSENCE's My City 4 Ways: Atlanta tour. Notably, Chef Willie kept Kanye West's production team fueled during the creation of the Grammy-winning Donda album, serving them throughout major events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Soldier Field.
